Dear Daughter (from the backseat): "Mommy, some day can I have a Rubik's Cube?"
Me: "...well, yeah, I suppose so...."
Dear Daughter: "Thanks, Mommy!"
(silence)
Me: "You know, I had a Rubiks' Cube when I was a kid. In fact, the Rubik's Cube was invented when I was a kid!"
Dear Daughter: "Wow! So you must be pretty old then, huh?"
*sigh* It's starting to look that way.

I remember when you were a Rubics cube for Halloween!
that makes me really old!!! haha
Nah, if you were really old, you wouldn't remember those kinds of things! I have a picture of me in that costume somewhere in an old photo album. I forgot about that until you brought it up (see...that makes me old...I didn't even remember it!) I'll have to find the picture for Zoe. She'll think it's pretty funny. And then she'll want to be a Rubik's Cube next Halloween.
